Usually referred to as a Consulting Arborist a Consulting Arboriculturist is a professional Arboriculturist in a private practice providing a broad range of information and report services to clients regarding trees, usually in urban environments, including tree care, planning, maintenance and management, building development, human issues, and specialist Arboricultural advice and multi-disciplinary support to other professions.
The IACA membership contains a diverse range of skilled professionals suited to working in multi-disciplinary situations providing a broad range of services, to individuals, companies and government for the management of trees. An IACA member typically works with Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers, Town Planners, Property Managers, Project Managers, Developers, Building Designers, Schools, Government Authorities, private property owners, in fact with any individual or organisation where our expertise can be applied. IACA Members may provide many of the services listed below and can usually be engaged after their Fee Proposal has been accepted.
